The series 2010 minus 5 was initiated as a series investigating locations about to undergo significant transformation as a result of construction projects related to the 2010 Olympic winter games. Sites were chosen due to their controversial nature and the potential for long-term impact on the surrounding environment and populace.

Three pieces from 2010 minus 5 were exhibited in May & June 2008 at the Surrey Art Gallery as part of the exhibition Search/Research: contemporary landscapes.
